His Initial and later Reasons

Conor’s life drastically changed after his encounter with the children at the Little Princes Children’s Home. The thought of spending his life with and for the children had never crossed his mind. The situation at the Little Princes Children’s Home, however, changed his entire life. Moving to the orphanage in Nepal, was but to facilitate Conor’s tour across the world. The warm welcome at the Little Princes Children’s Home which he received became the first bond that he had with the children and that later transformed his perception towards the children. The children were the sole warmth of Nepal to Conor. The love between Conor and the children grew fast and soon he was a father figure. Conor’s stay with Santosh at the hospital becomes his first realization that his life will never be complete without the children.
Conor’s quest to help the children forced him back to Nepal in 2006. This was the time that Conor realized that the children had their families but were trafficked by Golkka. He had to help the children find their families. Consequently, Conor promised reunites the children with their families. The political situation in Nepal was quickly deteriorating the children needed help.

Conor, who at no time ever thought of associating with children found his life incomplete without the children. He had to protect the children from Golkka, clothe them and offer them other basic needs. It became evident that he had to counsel the children to live out of fear of Golkka such the Nuraj and Knish, who could not share with their mother.  Against the wish of his family and friends, Conor’s encounter with the Little Princes Children’s Home transformed his whole life. To protect the children, he became a child activist in the war tone Nepal.
